Week Is Here Then Gone (Nov 21st 2016)

Hello, family and friends, we have had a busy week.

Monday we played Rugby. It was fun, but my body wanted to play football. It was weird at first but I got the hang of it. We then planned for Zone Conference, which was happening the next day, so that was fun but it was long as well.

Tuesday we drove to O’Fallon Illinois. Wherever I go I can never escape Illinois. We had Zone Conference from 9am to 4pm, so it was an all-day event. We shared a training topic about the brother of Jared and how to practice Unwavering Faith. It was really fun, but it was a long day. We didn't get to do much proselyting. We did have a dinner with Paul and his wife and we always enjoy going there.

Wednesday we had an exchange with Elder Lovik and Elder Scriver. It is weird because when I was in Alton, Elder Lovik was my Zone Leader and now I am his Zone Leader, so it was fun going on exchanges with him. We found a new person to talk to, Helen Gust. She was a fun visit. We had a good chat. We hope to set up another appointment very soon. Then that night we had our Bible study as usual.

Thursday We had another exchange. We were with Elder Jeppson and Elder Dial. We had a good exchange we helped some random guy build a wall in his backyard. We also had dinner with the Polander’s and they are awesome. We love going there! We had a lesson with Beverly Hudson.

Friday we had weekly planning we needed to do. We had dinner with Elder and Sister Curtis. They take care of our Cars and Apartments in our mission. They drove home on Sunday, so for their last supper, we went to Applebee’s with them. Then we had exchanges with the Assistance. We stayed the night and worked with them the next day.

Saturday we worked with the Assistance, I was with Elder Sagers. I love Elder Sagers. We had a great exchange. We had lunch at Canes!!! That was really good. We taught a few lessons and the spirit was super strong. After the exchange we had dinner at the Witt’s, then we had missionary correlation with our Ward Mission leader.

Sunday we had church and exchanges again but with the other Elders in our ward. We had a blast!I need to keep this email short, we have lots to do today but thanks for the support. Have fun, love you all!!!
Love,
Elder Washburn
