Life Continues On (Nov 7th 2016)

Hi everyone we had transfer calls the other day and I will be staying here in Maryland Heights with Elder Ward but we will be getting Elder Griffin so there will be three of us now. Yikes.

Last Monday we played basketball which was a lot of fun we loved it. Had a blast got to see Elder Stout. We went to a family’s house for Halloween it was a good time.

Tuesday we had district meeting at Pagedale and we did some lawn work for our recent convert Beverly Hudson which was good. We had dinner at Paul’s house and we had tacos. Love me some tacos. We were walking around that night with Paul in a complex and we started talking to some people and ended up teaching them the restoration it was really good super excited about them. Their names are Zach and Miranda.

Wednesday we went to another district meeting in Rockwood 1. It was a good meeting afterward we went home for lunch and decided to go back where we talked to Zach and Miranda the previous night and we started talking to a girl named Paola. We had a good lesson with her. Saw a few miracles this week with finding which is great.

Thursday we had exchanges with a set of Elders and I went with Elder Havil. It was fun, he is a newer missionary and we had a blast. He is also a basketball player so we had some good conversation. We saw a less active family and saw Beverly for a lesson as well.

Friday morning we played basketball and it was intense. We had some good ball playing missionaries down there and it was really good.  It got me exhausted. We exchanged back and did some planning, didn’t get to see anyone which was odd. We are working hard and staying positive and that's what is important.

Saturday we went down to Creve Couer Lake Park and talked to people on the bike path around there which was nice and we had a lesson with Glen. He was recently baptized. We had dinner at the Polander’s. They made some ribs which were amazing. We saw a few members and shared the message of the restoration.

Sunday we had a North America central broadcast it was basically for just the Midwest. Elder Rasband spoke and Elder Durrant it was really good we liked it. We did some door knocking and we saw more members. There wasn’t anything really big that stood out except last night and this morning we helped out everyone who was leaving to go home. It was really weird to be there it was a lot of fun but sad to see people I know go home. It made me realize how much fun I am having and how I don’t want to come home. Sorry mom but I am staying here forever.

Love you all have a great week and be safe.

Love,
